Chino is well-Protected

For Daniel 'Chino' McGregor, life in the fast lane is getting faster, and with a video for his single Protected, he is now heading for greater things in the future.

The video, which was shot at Carlos Café, on Belmont Road, New Kingston, on Wednesday night, would be the fourth of Chino's music career.

The shoot also features self-proclaimed 'King of the Dancehall' Beenie Man, Chino's brother, Stephen 'Di Genius' McGregor, and veteran reggae singer Freddie McGregor.

Produced by Nordia Stanley and directed by Michael 'biggs' Burdridge of Big Ship Records, the video sees Chino singing to an audience at a club, with Beenie Man as the drummer, Freddie as the guitarist and Stephen as pianist.

Stanley told THE STAR that the video was about Chino's progress in music.

"It's like Chino talking about what people are saying about him living off his father (the name McGregor) ... It is pretty simple, the song has an R&B-soca vibes to it," said Stanley.
