Spragga Benz son was killed by the police early yesterday morning. 17-year old Carlton Grant Junior was killed by the police in downtown Kingston.
It is alleged that residents heard gunshots in the early hours of Sunday morning, a break and then a single shot.
According to eye witness reports; when young Carlton was accosted by the police he placed his hands in the air before being shot the first time. Another eye witness claimed that the police went and stood over him and shot him a second time.
His body was then thrown into the back of the vehicle and he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Upset residents denied the police claim that the teen had a gun. Young Grant successfully sat his CXCs earning 5 subjects.
It is reported that Spragga Benz was in New York at the time of the shooting incident.
