Mavado performs alongside Wyclef at HOT 97 show

Dancehall deejay Mavado created pandemonium during the HOT 97 show when he was called out by Wyclef Jean.

"Our relationship has nothing to do with the music industry, the music industry is bullshit, (cheers), our relationship has to do with real motherfuckers knowing realest motherfucker, and here is the realest motherfucker on the planet," Wyclef said.

Then Mavado hit the stage singing his trademark 'gangster'.

"God know, I am on the move, I am on the go, dem a try stop mi show," he said to loud cheers. And then he asked the crowd to 'sing da part ya', and they belted out: 'I am so special, so special, so special..."

"Make some noise for Mavado. Jesus Christ!" Wyclef said.

He then deejayed 'On the Rock', and the Jamaicans in the crowd sang along in one loud voice. He then promised the crowd "Sunday at Irie Jamboree" before hugging Wyclef and departing the stage.
