Portmore Empire Locks Guyana


The Portmore Empire gave a splendid performance during 'November to Remember' at the national stadium of Guyana over the weekend. The show, by some preliminary estimates, attracted at least 14,000 people.

"The show sell off, ah crazy people inna the venue and the Empire lock it. Dem love Teacha song dem, remember say the Guyanese dem understand how Jamaicans think and behave. Mi do Fire Squeeze a capella because mi did forget to carry mi CDs dem, and mi get a big reaction. The whole Empire did well, sorry say Ryno never de de, but the Guyanese dem love we over de," Doza Medicine told one876entertainment.com earlier this week.

Doza Medicine is known for the songs Fire Sqeeze and Biting Insects on the Amazon riddim. The Empire returned to the island on Monday.
