DJ Merciless, riding high since his Amber Alert song has been dominating local airwaves, is gearing up for a promotional blitz as the mega-show Sting 25th anniversary concert approaches.
"I believe I am the only deejay that Bounty Killer fears in the business," Merciless said in an interview earlier this week.
Merciless will be appearing on CVM TV's morning time programme on Thursday. He will also be performing his Amber Alert single on TVJ's Smile Jamaica programme next Tuesday.
"I am not focussing on Bounty Killer, I am just focussing on God Almighty right now, the feedback on the Amber Alert is incredible, the whole world ah talk about it, people are calling me for interviews, mi ah bombard the whole system."
Merciless has a number of new singles that have been getting a positive buzz in recent weeks. Singles such as My Life, Call It What You Will and Christian Girl appear on the OutaRoad Records label, while the girl tune, Mi Mek Dem Walk Sideway Like a Crab on Seanizzle's Outta Order riddim is a fave on dancehall mixtapes.
